From time to time there may be a need to restart the Windows services that powers Nodeware. Here are the steps to quickly restart those services.
Windows Nodeware Sensor:
- On the machine where the Sensor was deployed
- Press the Windows Key + R, type in services.msc and press Enter.
- Locate the NodewareSensor Service in the list.
- Right-click on that NodewareSensor Service and click on Restart.
If for some reason the service doesn't restart, you should send Nodeware support the logs.
The "logs" folder is located in c:\program files\nodeware\logs
You can right click the "logs" folder and select add to archive to create a .zip file.
Open a ticket and attach the .zip file.
Windows Nodeware Agent:
- On the machine where the Agent was deployed
- Press the Windows Key + R, type in services.msc and press Enter.
- Locate the NodewareAgent Service in the list.
- Right-click on that NodewareAgent Service and click on Restart.
If for some reason the service doesn't restart, you should send Nodeware support the logs.
