Debian Based Sensor Installation Instructions

Download the Nodeware-sensor package from the Nodeware Dashboard.

Run "dpkg -i nodeware-sensor_x.x.x.deb" to install the sensor.

Change directory to "/usr/local/bin/nodeware" and run "./NodewareSensor register" to begin the registration process. Follow the prompts on screen.

NOTE: The Customer ID can be found by selecting a Customer and obtaining the ID from the URL. Example: https://app.nodeware.com/assets/cus_8888888/
(The ID is the numeric characters in bold. There is no need to use the cus_ ).

Run "./NodewareSensor sv-install" to install the sensor as a service. If there are any issues, run "./NodewareSensor sv-stop" to stop the service and then run "./NodewareSensor packlogs" to generate a support pack file. Create a ticket by clicking Support at the bottom right of this page and provide the file to Nodeware support.

Run "./NodewareSensor sv-start" to start the service back up.
