Nodeware provides on-demand and scheduled reports that provide an optional high-level summary as well as detailed vulnerability results from the last scan. As Nodeware is a continuous scanning product, the reporting period is representative of all hosts on the selected customers’ networks within the last 30 days.
To get started with reporting, do the following:
1. Log into the Nodeware Dashboard at https://app.nodeware.com.
2. Select Reports on the left side pane.
If reports were previously created, they will be listed in the table and are available to download and view.
To run a report on demand, do the following:
3. Select the Customer.
4. Select the Report Type. Report Types include:
• Executive Summary
• Network Report
• External Detailed Report
• Top Vulnerabilities Report
• Log4J Audit Report
• Inventory Report
• Exceptions Report
• PlexTrac JSON Report
• XML Report
• CVE CSV Report
5. Select Run Report.
The report generation starts immediately and should take less than a minute depending on the customer or network size. Reports are available in two formats, HTML and PDF. HTML reports are ready for download immediately, and PDF shortly thereafter.
Reports are not emailed due to the sensitive information contained in them and because email is not secure.
Reports can be retrieved through the API or dashboard. Common reporting actions can be automated using the API, such as generating/retrieving reports, creating custom reports (Amazon Quick Sight, Power BI), and emailing data from reports.
