Annual Subscription
The annual subscription is the least cost per asset option. Customers are billed, via the credit card on file, for the annual amount upfront and then monthly for any usage (additional assets) over the subscription amount. For example, if 2 blocks (100 assets) are purchased, the credit card on file will be immediately billed for the 2 blocks. If at the end of any given month there are, for example, 125 assets scanned, the credit card will be charged for the additional 25 assets in arrears at the consumption rate that is above the initial purchase price.
Monthly Subscription
The monthly subscription will provide a slight discount on the consumption model. Customers are billed, via the credit card on file, for the monthly amount and for any usage (additional assets) over the subscription amount. At the end of the month, if there is usage above the subscription amount, the credit card will be charged for the additional assets in arrears at the consumption rate that is above the initial purchase price.
Consumption Billing
Nodeware's consumption billing is the pay as you grow model, starting with a single asset, and is the ultimate flexibility for dynamic organizations. The credit card on file will be charged by the peak number of assets in use (“Usage”) during the month. Customers are billed on the first of the following month and the credit card will be charged for the peak number of assets that were used during the previous month. Usage resets on the first of the month.
Usage can be combined with monthly or annual subscriptions to optimize spending. Volume discounts apply. All Nodeware pricing models and billing automatically account for discount pricing which is applied at incremental breakpoints as use increases. (“Volume Discounts”)
Consumption billing allows the opportunity to try Nodeware for a month to perform a needs assessment. At any time during while using Nodeware, the account can be converted to a full subscription (monthly or annual) to purchase the number of assets needed in increments of 50 using the Subscriptions tab as outlined in the steps above.
To monitor asset usage on the Consumption Billing model, do the following:
1. Click Subscriptions in the left side pane.
The dashboard shows usage in real time.
